Randy and Daryl met through a previous employer.  As Daryl was gearing up to switch careers and attend culinary school, he continued to work, and Randy was hired to oversee his department.  As Randy moved down to San Diego from Irvine, he and Daryl continually bounced around to different lunch and dinner spots.  Although Randy has recently moved back to Irvine, they still make it a point to meet regularly, and eat and drink together.  Randy enjoys blackjack, his Oakland A’s and Dallas Cowboys, and keeping a streak-free shine on his BMW.
