Evergreen Lodge rests quietly in Groveland, California, a community that lay just outside of Yosemite National Park. Originally built in 1921 as a camp to temporarily house the workers building O'Shaughnessey Dam, the resort sits mere minutes from Yosemite's famed Hetch Hetchy Resovoir, and only seven miles from the North entrance of Yosemite National Park.

Evergreen Lodge offers more than eighty individual cabins, with accomodations ranging from the basic, vintage cabins built in the 1920's, to more modern family cabins, to custom camping amenities. The grounds include both adult and family recreational rooms, a full-service restaurant and tavern, a gift shop & convenience store, a saltwater pool and jacuzzi, and numerous lookout spaces and gathering areas. The resort also offers fully guided tours of the spectacular landscape and wildlife in and around the crown jewel of the National Parks system, Yosemite. RESERVATIONS
Reservations for Evergreen Lodge MUST be made directly through the resort's phone line and front desk (not online), making sure to reference the Biggs/Burt Wedding. The resort has a 2-night minimum, and room rates, with the wedding discount of 15% and before tax, are as follows:

As a general travel note, please keep in mind that Evergreen Road is a 7 mile stretch of road branching off of highway 120, which leads directly to Evergreen Lodge. We highly recommend travelling this road during the daylight, as it is not well lit, and pitches and winds through the beautiful foothills and meadows of the wooded areas just north of Yosemite's North Gate. As visibility can be minimal at night on the road, and considering the native wildlife that is regularly active in the area, driving during the day is safest.
